Global Mapper Mobile® offers a robust iOS application designed to facilitate GIS data viewing and collection in the field. Utilizing the GPS features of mobile devices, this app enhances situational awareness and locational intelligence for various remote mapping projects. Serving as an advantageous complement to the desktop iteration of Global Mapper, the mobile version caters to professionals such as engineers, surveyors, wildlife managers, foresters, and individuals requiring access to spatial data in remote settings.

Enabling the display of vector, raster, and elevation data layers transferred from the desktop version, Global Mapper Mobile also furnishes tools for drawing, tracking, and form-based data collection with pre-configured attributes and picklists.

Global Mapper Mobile Base Version (Free)
The complimentary base version of Global Mapper Mobile encompasses a range of features and functions including:

<li>GPS location display</li>
<li>Point, line, and polygon feature creation using GPS location</li>
<li>Edit capabilities for existing vector features</li>

Global Mapper Mobile Pro
The Pro version of Global Mapper Mobile, available as an in-app purchase, enriches the functionality of the base version with an array of professional-grade tools such as:

<li>Advanced GPS support for connection to high-accuracy GNSS devices from vendors like Bad Elf, EOS, Juniper, among others</li>
<li>RTK correction through a built-in NTRIP client</li>
<li>GPS Averaging</li>
<li>Terrain shader and water level display options</li>
<li>Custom online source options and online data saving for offline usage</li>
<li>Simultaneous feature creation</li>
<li>Viewshed generation</li>
<li>Volume calculation</li>
<li>Data reprojection</li>
<li>Address searching</li>
<li>Support for Geopackage and GeoPDF formats</li>
</ul>
